I wasn’t sure the first couple times I felt it, but now I am positive.

9 Feb

At 16 weeks, I CAN NOW FEEL DURRENBABY MOVE.

He or she is doing little flips inside me! It’s the craziest feeling! I really love it. It’s like we get to play together all day!

Also, he or she now has bones in his or her little ears, so he or she can now hear my voice and is now starting to respond to and bond with it.

This is so bizarre, you guys. Bizarre in the best way.

Oh, and as my husband pointed out, I should really watch my mouth now.

It’s so AMAZING isn’t it? I’m beyond excited for you guys! It only gets better as Durrenbaby gets bigger! Just wait till your belly starts doing the wave! Not sure if Dan’s taken to talking to your belly now but he should! John responds when Ted talks, he’ll come home and start talking and out of the blue baby starts getting all worked up.
It’s funny, I thought the same thing about watching what I say, lol
It’s the most odd, surreal feeling when they move, flip, hiccup but it’s such a cool thing!

If our baby is already doing flips, we should enroll him/her in gymnastics ASAP. Seriously, I want a Durrenberger to win a gold medal! We’ll be– I mean… Our kid will be famous! Summer Olympics 2028, here we come!

It’s highly possible! They did an ultrasound and John was literally bouncing back and forth, flipping around!
